Voice of the Customer specialist eDigitalResearch have appointed former Research Director Kat Hounsell to the position of Sales and Marketing Director.
Kat will lead a team of team of ten – comprised of business development professionals, marketing specialists and graphic designers – and drive eDigitalResearch’s new business and overall marketing activity. Throughout 2014, a number of new clients – including Fat Face, Odeon and intu – chose to partner with eDigitalResearch for their Voice of the Customer programmes thanks to the company’s superior technology and research expertise.
Working previously at The Guardian and The Observer, as well as News International as part of their strategic planning team, Kat joined eDigitalResearch in 2006. Kat’s unique mix of strategic development and research experience, as well as an unrivalled knowledge of eDigitalResearch’s offering, makes her ideally placed to advise new clients on how best to listen to their customers and make a real difference to their business performance.
Kat’s appointment makes eDigitalResearch the only international insight organisation with an experienced researcher driving growth and the future direction of the company.
Part of eDigitalResearch’s recent re-structure will also see former Account Director Graham Larkin move to the Business Development team in charge of special projects. Having joined the company in 2008, Graham has worked on a number of large-scale, international projects – including British Airways – combining eDigitalResearch’s advanced, leading-edge technology with detailed and focused insight. As part of his new role, Graham will be key to setting up similar projects for new and existing clients, ensuring the entire implementation process is seamless.

Kat’s appointment comes just weeks after the promotion of Nada Gillard to Product Director, whose new role will involve working closely with eDigitalResearch’s experienced technical team to develop the eDigitalResearch system. eDigitalResearch have a number of key developments planned over the coming months, including the integration of new technologies into their SaaS technology.
