The support levels are defined as:

Full Support Restricted Support Unsupported No Support
Content (whether in surveys, panels, HUB or other material) will be actively tested prior to going live/into production. Reported bugs post launch will be fixed. Content will be tested and remain functional, however advanced/whizzy behaviour will not be supported or developed. Minor layout problems can be ignored. Content will be tested to ensure it remains functional/accessible. Content will not be tested in, and new features will not be developed to work in these browsers. If bugs are reported they will be investigated and fixed on an ad-hoc basis, up to the level of a restricted support browser (i.e. functional but not whizzy). Content will not be developed for, tested in, or bug-fixed. This includes browsers in BETA.

Progressive Enhancement

Using new technology to enhance our products, whilst remaining fully functional/backwards compatible for older browsers.

HTML5, CSS3 and other emerging technology should be used to subtly enhance the visual appearance/design/functionality of surveys and panels. This needs to be done carefully so as not to impact the user experience in terms of design or functionality. Clients may need to be made aware that some users may not be able to see these enhancements.
